Can Artificial Wreaths Go Outside? What to Know First

Our current Lumenvesta wreaths are intended for indoor display. We do not claim that they are waterproof or UV-resistant. A covered porch is still outdoors and does not make an indoor decorative wreath weatherproof.
Why placement matters
Fabric flowers, plastic foliage, paint, foam berries and decorative attachments can respond differently to sunlight and moisture. Artificial does not mean weatherproof. Read the materials and care notes for the design you choose.
Choose an indoor place
An interior door, entryway wall or mantel can bring the season into your home without exposing the wreath to rain or wind. Keep it away from open flames, direct heat and prolonged strong sunlight. Use hanging hardware suitable for the surface and weight; hardware is not included unless the product page says otherwise.
Can I put it on a sheltered porch?
We do not recommend outdoor use for the current collection. If you need a wreath specifically for outdoor conditions, do not assume that a decorative product is suitable because a photograph shows a doorway.
Before you choose
- Check the product’s materials and finished dimensions.
- Allow clearance around flowers, ribbons and other decorations.
- For designs supplied with a light string, read the product’s battery and included-item notes. Do not assume the light string is rated for outdoor use.
