Co-creation
Every product on this site is a default sample. The materials, colors, scale, and structure are what we'd choose. Your buyers might want something different.
Co-creation is how we turn our defaults into your product. It's not "customization" as a fee — it's the standard way we work for any order over 100 pieces.
Step 1 — Tell us what you're after
Email sales@lumenvesta.com with one of:
- A reference photo (yours or anyone's — we don't infringe, we adapt)
- A mood board, swatch card, or color palette
- A spec sheet from a previous order
- A rough sketch on a napkin
Within 24 hours we reply with feasibility, rough timeline, and questions about anything we can't tell from the input.
Step 2 — We quote, you approve
Within 48 hours: written quote covering materials, scale, finish, MOQ, lead time, and price per piece. Quote is valid for 30 days.
If you want changes to the quote, say so. We re-quote in 24 hours. No "negotiating" theater.
Step 3 — Sampling
You pay the sample fee — $25 per design for standard samples; complex custom work is quoted up front. We make one sample, video-record it from four angles before shipping, and ship by air courier (courier billed at actual cost).
Lead time:
- Standard sample: 5–7 working days
- Rush sample: 3 working days, +50% rush fee
- Complex custom: 7–14 working days
You hold the sample in hand before placing the bulk order. If the sample is wrong, we make a second one — free, if our error.
Step 4 — Production
You approve the sample in writing (email or signed page). We invoice 30% deposit. Production starts. Standard lead times:
- 20–300 pieces: 10–14 working days
- 300–1,000 pieces: 15–21 working days
Mid-production you'll receive a short video of randomly selected units off the line. If anything looks wrong, we fix it before continuing.
Step 5 — Pre-shipment check
Before packing, every batch passes AQL 2.5 inspection. We share the inspection report and a final video of a packed carton. Once you approve, we invoice the 70% balance.
Step 6 — Ship
Two contracted forwarders. Cargo insurance is included. You can specify express air (+30% freight) for tight windows.
Every shipment includes 2% complimentary spare units — real production pieces, not seconds — for in-transit damage replacement at your end.
What co-creation costs
The base price is whatever we quoted for the version with your specifications. There is no "co-creation fee." We charge for the work, not for the conversation.
Where co-creation costs you time:
- 5–10 extra days on first lead time
- One sample round you commit to before bulk
What co-creation doesn't cost you:
- IP — your sketches and designs remain yours, written into the contract
- Exclusivity — within your region, for designs you commissioned, we don't sell the same design to anyone else for three years
